ADAS was designed as a failsafe to ensure that drivers are alerted to potential hazards on the road. However, it shouldn’t be relied upon as a replacement for awareness. All too often, as is the case with other technologies, we become comfortable and accustomed to the convenience that such devices offer. Hopefully, this study will serve as a reminder that the best defense against an accident is staying engaged while driving.
If your vehicle is equipped with ADAS but you need to replace the windshield, chances are that system needs to be recalibrated. At Advantage Auto Glass we offer ADAS recalibration in addition to our auto glass services. Contact us at 612-343-8984 for more information on this service.
